Two-player rules

Playing one-on-one? Here's how setup changes and which cards leave each deck.

  • Still 7 Unicorns to win
  • Both start with a Neigh
  • Some cards leave the deck
  • Printed decks only

Setting up a duel

  1. Hand out a NeighEach player takes a Neigh from the deck before anything is dealt.
  2. Take out cardsRemove the cards listed below for your deck and every expansion you add.
  3. Deal as usualShuffle and deal 5 cards each, so you both start with 6.

The digital table does all of this for you whenever exactly two players sit down.

Winning

  • You still need 7 Unicorns to win.
  • Campaign duels use these rules too, but are won at 6 Unicorns.
